warranties for everything from HVAC to floors and roof, and services to make settlement smooth and worry-free. But, that’s not all. We’ll visit you 30 days after you have settled in and again a year later to make sure you’re
completely happy with your home!

This comprehensive program helps guarantee that even after you move in, you can count that everything will be operating smoothly for a long long time.

- 12 month in-house warranty, 30 days and 1 year all materials and defects
- QBW Home Warranty-Kimberly Homes achieved “Builder of Integrity” status with QBW. The warranty is
10-year structural and is backed by a national company.

You will quickly discover that the Kimberly Home experience is different on many levels. For one, we don’t wait before it’s too late to discover a problem. We deeply entrench ourselves in the construction process and take the level of workmanship so seriously, we have a third party inspectors at several points to ensure that you get exactly what you deserve—the very best product.
- Excavation – After the ground has been excavated, your new home undergoes an inspection by an
independent county inspector to test among other things soil compaction to ensure solid ground.
- Termite pre-treatment – The ground, the stone and the backfill are treated around our homes and
inspected to ward off-pest infestation.
- Foundation – Upon completion of the foundation, the walls are checked for structural soundness,
locations, dimensions and damp proofed.
- Slab – The slab which includes interior and exterior drainage system in keeping the basement dry is
poured and checked by an independent county inspector. The additional exterior drainage system
exceeds building code requirements.
- Framing – Once your new home is framed, it is inspected to ensure safety and stability.
- HVAC – Our heating and cooling system must pass a rigorous inspection.
- Plumbing –An independent county inspector will inspect your drains as well as perform pressure and
water tests.
- Electrical – An independent county inspector is called to check the quality of your electrical system and to make certain it is up to code.
- Insulation – An independent county inspector will check the effectiveness of insulation in your home.
- Pre-Drywall – Before drywall is installed, our Kimberly Homes production team will invite you to join them to check select locations and options as well as inspect your home for accuracy and aesthetics.
Additionally, an independent company is hired to seal penetrations and seal ductwork.
- Paint – Our production team inspects your home for the quality three-coat painting system and takes care
of point point-ups.
- Completion – When your new home is complete, an inspector does a walk through to thoroughly check virtually every component before you go to settlement.
- 30-day post settlement – An independent Customer Service Representative will visit your new home and examine items you request and schedule any necessary work.

Settlement is often a time when homebuyers feel worried, tense and unsure—unless they are one of Kimberly Homes’ customers. We believe that it is our job to make the process as stress-free as possible. Therefore, we’re with you every step of the way communicating to ensure that everything is as it should. And when it’s not, we’ll let you know and show you your alternatives. Here is an example of what you can expect from our settlement services:
- The Kimberly Homes New Home Consultant will help prepare you for settlement by reviewing with you what
you need for settlement and what to expect when you get there.
- Our preferred lender at Kimberly Homes will provide you with preliminary estimates of your closing costs
prior to settlement that will better assist you in the final steps before settlement.
- Kimberly Homes recommends an experienced Title Company for smooth and worry-free settlements.
In addition, a Kimberly Homes Representative will attend and assist you at settlement.

The good news is that the hard work is down. Now it’s time for you to just sit back and enjoy your new place of refuge. But, we know that just because the last brick has been laid, last signature signed and the last piece of furniture has been arranged, it doesn’t mean we’re done. We want to ensure that nothing goes wrong tomorrow or a year from now. Therefore, we offer a Post Settlement follow-up that is second to none.
- Remember, at Kimberly Homes our commitment doesn’t stop at settlement. No, our dedicated customer
service team is available to answer your new home questions as well as provide leading edge customer
